Some pretty sweet thing-a-ma-bobbers we’re helping put together for this year’s TIMBER! Outdoor Music Festival!

The air was charged. It was the Friday before Superbowl Sunday in Tacoma, Washington. After a victorious Stadium High School basketball game, Elk & Boar and friends took over the Stadium gymnasium where an all ages party ensued.
We’re proud to present the official music film we created for Elk & Boar’s “Ten Steps”—directed by our own Sarah in collaboration with Kirsten from Elk & Boar

We had the distinct honor of working with the beloved Northwest Folklife Festival this year to create their 2014 branding and poster.

Here’s the poster we created for the 2nd annual TIMBER! Outdoor Music Festival. Take a look at those headliners!
We wanted to catch the vibe of swim trunks and boat sails and tent flaps and starry nights and forever blues. We’re already mentally there . . . hope you’ll join us in July!

Our good friends (family, actually) at SHAPE Field Office have designed the stylishly simple SHAPE Field Chair which is available for purchase via their Kickstarter campaign.
We are proud to have helped them create this film celebrating the unique features of the chair.
Operating under our alter-ego The Heart Dept., we had the distinct pleasure of capturing the nuptials of a bewitchingly beautiful couple, Amy Berkley and Matt Buechler.

Inspired both by a cone of light from a projector as well as a strip of segmented film, we created this clean, simple logo as a timeless piece of identity for Tacoma Film Festival.
Somewhere down in the beaches of Los Angeles lives a surfing, film-editing woodworker who travels the world gathering pieces of wood and designing and crafting custom high-end furniture. His artistic pieces breathe with life and personality.
And we had the privilege of creating a logo and identity for him that would serve as a fresh face for his work as well as a functional brand for his pieces.
We continue to work with the good folks at Artist Home on their successful TIMBER! Outdoor Music Festival as it puts on its coziest winter coat and becomes TIMBRRR! Winter Music Festival (see what they did there?)
The poster we designed above takes its cues from the summer festival’s poster we designed, but with a much more chill effect (we hope!) and all still centered on a modified version of the TIMBER! logo we designed. (more…)
This is the poster we designed for the 2013 iteration of the annual Squeak ‘n’ Squawk music festival in Tacoma, Wash. If there was a squeaking and squawking animal that was the festival’s mascot, this would be one of its feathers.
