We are collaborating with one of Portland’s most interesting music projects—Bombay Beach. A trio composed of three thoughtful artists with wild abandon and serious chops. At one moment, their music will pummel you with noise and howl and the next moment it will blow you away on a digital breeze. (more…)

[portfolio_slideshow id=2246]
Here’s the poster we created for the 2nd annual TIMBER! Outdoor Music Festival. Take a look at those headliners!
We wanted to catch the vibe of swim trunks and boat sails and tent flaps and starry nights and forever blues. We’re already mentally there . . . hope you’ll join us in July!

photos // TIMBRRR! : 2014
Our beanies off to Artist Home for another incredible festival. The first annual TIMBRRR! Winter Music Festival ranged from cozy, intimate, happiness to crazy, dance-y happening. We can’t wait for the next one!
Here are some of our snapshots from this weekend:

film // Kithkin : TIMBER! Stageside Film
It was that time of day when the sun was at its highest, with a hint of heat-induced delirium creeping over the crowd, when the witchy tree people of Kithkin took to the Main Stage at TIMBER! Outdoor Music Festival.
What happened next was a frenzy of music and mania and maybe even sorcery that spellbound the audience and provided one of the most memorable sets of the weekend. So much happened—guitars were played with teeth, Lemolo’s Kendra jumped on stage for an impromptu drum jam, Kithkin’s Kelton Sears wandered through the crowd preaching post-apocalyptic screes and a banana was eaten. Into the microphone.

video // Goldfinch : “Beautiful Wine” + “Hood”
Tacoma band Goldfinch has a new album out—and it’s being officially released at the upcoming CATHEDRALS Tacoma. We captured them performing one of the songs for the new album—accompanied by an original dance piece—in the historic Immanuel Presbyterian. Also this video from the same night of their cover of Perfume Genius’ Hood:

video // Musical Plates : Kris Orlowski
Third time’s indeed a charm for Seattle’s only (and best!) mobile food tour. This time around, Kris Orlowski‘s melodic pop complemented White Moustache’s four-wheeled foodie foray up, down and all over town into some of Seattle’s best kept culinary secrets.
We’re firm believers that White Moustache gastro-guide Bryce Lathrop is one part Bacchanalian storyteller, two parts food anthropologist and three parts epicurean shaman. Meaning, he has the epicure for all that ails you, and you’ll emerge from your food coma two days later boasting some anecdotal cultural history to boot. On this particular tour, Bryce played raconteur and the band played songs catchier than hell and everyone filled their bellies with an all-vegetarian menu.
Above is a first glimpse at the night—the video we produced of Orlowski and co.’s performance at the delicious and sparkling Grub.
Here’s another clip we created as a survey of the entire evening:
If you like what you see, don’t hesitate to purchase tickets for the next Musical Plates food tour!
