Seattle/Tacoma artist Vicci Martinez is releasing new material in collaboration with Tacoma’s Enter-Exit-Stay that has us totally hooked. We were honored to produce the first music film for this project using our personal favorite song Stay Awake.

TIMBRRR! Winter Music Festival year two was even better than year one (which set the bar high.) Friday night popped with a variety of fresh sounds from new wave to hip hop while Saturday night finished with a solid bang with the two-punch of Hobosexual followed by headliner headbangers Red Fang. Leavenworth was lovely, as always, and the waather gave us snow when and where we wanted it and left the roads clear. Thank you Kevin, Phil and Chad at Artist Home!

As passionate filmmakers and cinephiles, we felt very much in our essence creating the poster for this year’s Tacoma Film Festival. For the art, we wanted to play with the escapist whimsy of cinema to create a surreal design, one that was inspired by the interaction of light with space but—like a good film—is imbued with some added layers of visual meaning pertaining to both cinema and Tacoma. The air was charged. It was the Friday before Superbowl Sunday in Tacoma, Washington. After a victorious Stadium High School basketball game, Elk & Boar and friends took over the Stadium gymnasium where an all ages party ensued.
